Yoga for Labor & Childbirth

Every birth is a unique experience for each couple. This workshop will help you find the courage and comfort you’ll need during the birthing process. Through coping strategies that include movement, massage, breath, visualization, vocalization the partner can provide emotional support to the laboring woman and together they can manage the intensity of labor. This workshop provides you the opportunity to explore the process of labor and discover the strategies that might work best for you and your partner. While the approach of labor is from a yogic perspective, no previous yoga experience is necessary. We welcome couples at all stages of pregnancy. The information that you take away from this workshop can be used in any birth setting.
